Good news, the 13th Cody’s Challenge Skimo Race is happening on Saturday, April 3rd, 2021 at Steamboat in Colorful Colorado! Unfortunately due to the State of Colorado regulations for COVID we are limited to 70 racers participating this year. We are still working out all the details and logistics with Steamboat and will of course be providing updates as soon as we receive them.

We should have registration live next week and possibly will have chosen our scholarship recipients for this year! The awardees will be announced at the prize ceremony after the 13th Cody’s Challenge on April 3rd, 2021!

Cody’s Challenge is Steamboat Springs first and only randonee (skimo) race! Every year, there are more races added to the calendar throughout Colorado, but we challenge you to find one with more heart. This is more than your typical big ascent, heart pumping race.

Cody’s Challenge is for everyone, from the professional racer to the first timer. We encourage everyone and anyone to participate in what we think is the coolest race-for-a-cause in Colorado! A portion of the proceeds go directly to The Cody St. john Memorial Scholarship Fund, which awards scholarships to Professional Ski Patrollers for continuing medical education.
